What do you do at St. Paul’s?

As the Director of Leadership Development, my purpose is to develop spiritual leaders.  Our values are: 1.) Operating with integrity; 2.) Commitment to honest feedback; 3.) Being inclusive; 4.) Willing to listen and 5.) Having fun.  I work with several task force groups that focus on parents and children; local, national and international communities and creating a welcoming environment.  I’m also always looking for ways to close gaps which in some cases means a new task force.  We have room for you and I pray you will contact me today to talk about your passions.  Blessings to you!

 How big is your family?
I have three older brothers who are all married with children, two brothers live in Arizona and one in Florida. My mom also lives in Tucson, which is such a blessing. On March 10, 2012, I married the love of my life, Patrick Scott. Pat has two amazing sons, Mike and Andy.  Mike is married to Jenny and Andy is dating Justine.  I count my blessings every day to be part of my wonderful Scott family.

What do you do for fun?
I love the outdoors and hike at least three times per week.  I also jump at the chance to cycle and golf. Pat and I work out together and regularly take spin and boot camp classes as well as lift weights. Travel is another passion!  We went to Maui for our honeymoon and will go to Kauai for our first anniversary.  I love to watch the Arizona sunsets as they are so beautiful and make me feel especially close to God.

What’s your favorite kind of music?
I listen to all types of music.  My favorites are soft rock, country and Broadway.

Who are your favorite authors/books?
I love to read and particularly like John Grisham, Tony Hillerman and Pat Conroy. I love so many books and movies….I will share my favorite movie: The Sound of Music. I also loved the book The Trapp Family Singers.

What do you get at Starbucks?
That is easy: Vente extra hot sugar free vanilla latte with 2 percent milk. Yes, 2 percent milk is my vice.  Have you ever tried the maple scone?  It is awesome!
