Perhaps St. Paul’s United Methodist Church’s Mission statement best expresses our beliefs:

“We are called to be a community of generosity and love where we invite others to join us in becoming disciples of Jesus Christ for the good of the world.”

The United Methodist church tries to honor both personal holiness and social responsibility. We seek to embody the ideals of: grace, peace with justice, diversity, connection, and transformation.

If you become a member of St. Paul’s UMC, we have a set of expectations that we ask you to commit to:

Worship: “We worship the Lord in Spirit and in Truth.” John 9:24

Community: We are called to be “glad and generous… praising God and having the goodwill of all people.” Acts 2:43-47

Growth: “God wants us to grow up, to know the whole truth, and tell it in love-like Christ in everything.” Ephesians 4:15

Change: “Faith without works is dead.” James 2:26

Giving: “Where your treasure is, there your heart is also.” Matthew 6:21
