The Bible teaches that we are created for goodness.  “God saw everything that he had made, and indeed, it was very good.”  The Bible also teaches that we live in a broken world that often leaves that goodness obscured.  Can we find a way to come to terms with both of these profound truths even as we find Christ alive in our lives?

“The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it.”  During the season of Lent, beginning February 26th and concluding on Easter Sunday, April 8th, we will practice telling the truth about the ways our daily lives challenge the presence of goodness even as we affirm the light that cannot be overcome.
