Summertime at St. Paul’s

As St. Paul’s sanctuary undergoes an exciting transformation, from June 3-August 5th worship locations will be as follows:

8:00 AM — Worship in the A-Frame–A service planned around meditative congregational singing & scripture.

9:30 AM–Library (Room C1)– Lectio Divina led by Rev. Hal Cowart is a meditative reading of scripture.

9:30 AM–Worship in the Life Center

9:30 AM–Worship in Vail at  Octotillo Ridge Elementary School, 10170 S. White Lightning Lane

The Life Center and Vail services will be highly interactive; engaging directed conversation around tables while focusing on Spirit filled, God alive human relationships and how to be active in helping them flourish and grow.

11:00 AM–Worship in the A-Frame–Join this traditional service as we remember where worship at St. Paul’s UMC began.

On campus at 10:45 on most weeks throughout the summer an option for eating with your new and old friends will be offered.  Below is a schedule of meals.

June 3—A meal will be provided on campus.
June 10—Snack food will be served around your table during worship.
June 17— Head to Clements Park for a picnic and swimming.  (Please bring your own picnic food.)
June 24—We will divide you into groups and send you off to a restaurant of your choice.  Who knows who you’ll get to know during this meal!
July 1— We will divide you into groups and send you to a pre-arranged home where you will be warmly greeted and treated to lunch.
July 8— Lunch at a restaurant (see June 24)
July 15— Delicious snack food at your table during worship (see June 10)
July 22— Join St. Paul’s friends in someone’s home (See July 1)
July 29— Who doesn’t love a picnic & swimming (see June 17)
August 5—On our last week together in the Life Center, we will provide lunch for you on campus.
