FLU SHOT CLINIC
This year’s flu shot clinic is on Wednesday, September 29, from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PMin Brummet Hall. Be sure to bring your insurance information/cards. Medicare and almost everyone’s insurance will cover the cost of the shots. Without insurance flu shots cost $25; pneumonia shots: $50.

SAVVY SENIOR TOUR
Our tour for the month of September is SPECIAL! We will go the Smithsonian Institution’s Whipple Observatory on Mt. Hopkins in the Santa Rita Mountains on Wednesday, September 22. We leave from Brummet Hall promptly at 7:30 AM. The tour takes most of the day and we will be at an elevation of 8,550 feet. We will be walking, standing and climbing stairs at that elevation. Bring a lunch and light jacket. Admission is $7.00 and the van fee is $4.00. The church has to pay in advance for the tour, so if you register, please be here with $11.00. In order to reserve your place, please call the church at 296-6149 by Thursday, September 16. The tour is limited to 12 people.

BIBLE STUDY CLASS meets every Monday at 10:30 AM in the Covenant Room.

THE MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT GROUP provides respect, understanding, encouragement, and hope. We meet on Wednesdays at 1:00 PM in Room C1. For more information call the church office at 296-6149.

PARISH NURSES will be conducting Blood Pressure Checks on Sunday, September 19, between services 9:00 – 9:30AM and 10:30 -11:00 AM in Room C2.

MORNING AT THE MOVIES
The movie for September is Big Fish, starring Albert Finney, Billy Crudup, Jessica Lange, and Danny Devito . If you have a suggestion for a future film, please call Jim Moffett (296-6149). The film will be shown on Monday, September 20, at 10:30 AM in the Covenant Room.

ST. PAUL'S WATERCOLOR CLASS will begin classes on Monday, September 13, at 10:30 AM in the A-Frame (entrance door to A-Frame faces Fellowship Square on Maguire). Janet Satterfield is the instructor and looks forward to seeing everyone there. Please call her at 290-9316 if you have questions or need a copy of the syllabus and supply list. Beginning painters and those new to drawing are welcome. Classes usually run until 2:30 PM so bring your lunch. A $1 per class donation is appreciated.

ST. PAUL’S HIKING CLUB (open to hikers of all ages)
Our September hike will be on the top of Mt Lemmon. We’ll hike the Meadow Trail and Lemmon Trail to the fire lookout. The hike will be on September 8 and we will leave from Brummet Hall at 8:00 AM promptly. The trails are at an elevation of 9,000 feet. Call the office at 296-6149 by Thursday, September 2 to reserve your place. Limit 10. Van fee $5.00.
