Director of Senior Adult and Lay Care Ministries
Hi, my name is Jim Moffett. I’m the Director of Senior Adult and Lay Care Ministries at St. Paul’s U.M.C. I’m responsible for ensuring that St. Paul’s continues to provide high quality, educational, spiritually-oriented and fun activities for our senior adult members. Our church offers a broad range of activities and services for seniors. We provide home visitor and tele-care ministries. Support groups for mental health, care givers and grief recovery are available. Stretching and strengthening classes meet three times a week. Monthly tours are offered and members travel to sites of interest all over Southern Arizona. Our Parish Nurses provide a blood pressure clinic and flu-shot clinic as well as health education classes. There are also programs for home-bound members and those living in long-term care facilities. It’s exciting to be a part of the St. Paul U.M.C. family and to be able to serve our active and loving senior community.
