Early Bird Choir Director

Over many years there has been a myriad of religious songs penned by a variety of composers, for a variety of reasons.  Some written from personal life experiences, some from personal consecration and conviction, some for praise, but all for the Glory of our God.  A lot of those songs have disappeared into history and seemingly been forgotten, but many have remained as distinct favorites over the years and are enjoyed as well today, as they were when they were first composed.

The objective of the Early Bird Choir is to assist in edifying a group of folks who still find those lyrics and tunes sacred and worshipful. Thus the 8:00 AM “Traditional” Service is committed to maintaining contact with that history of “Older Favorites” songs and hymns.  Indeed many of those songs and hymns have been, and continue to be, perennial favorites down through the years for a myriad of reasons … depending on each person’s life experiences. 

It is my desire and purpose to work with a dedicated group of “Early Bird” Choir members who sincerely desire to individually and collectively enhance their walk with God by the creative singing of those ‘Traditional’ songs and hymns.  It is my goal that the creative renditions of those “Traditional” songs and hymns will additionally assist in the inspiring of the congregation to be better prepared for the receiving of the preached word spoken by our Pastors.   

Using your voice alongside others in our Early Bird Choir can be personally fulfilling for you as well as a great way to worship God.  Please accept my personal invitation to join us for a joyous time of singing, fellowship with fellow singers, and a closer walk with God, by dedicating your voice to Him.  You will be most welcome. The Early Bird Choir meets on Sundays at 7:30 AM (prior to the 8:00 AM service) in the Music Room (room B7).
