St. Paul's has five
distinct worship services to help you worship 8:00 Worship Meeting friends at this traditional service is a lovely way to begin the day. We’ll sing the hymns we’ve always cherished, while taking the time to pray for each other. The Early Bird Choir offers the highest quality anthems and would welcome your participation by attending their rehearsal at 7:30 a.m. before worship begins. 9:30 Worship Join us in a highly participatory contemporary service filled with the joyful sounds of children and led by St. Paul’s own worship band, “Grace Multiplied.” Children are welcome to stay in worship or to leave after the children's message to attend a fully-graded Sunday School program. Adults will be on the patio after the children's message to assist you in finding the correct classroom for your child. 11:00 Worship This service enjoys the talented leadership of the Sanctuary Choir. Adults and children are invited to sing the traditional hymns of the church as our hearts are lifted in worship. As during the 9:30 worship service, children are welcome to stay in worship or attend a rotational model Sunday School program. Adults will be on the patio after the children's message to assist you in finding the correct classroom for your child. 5:30 p.m. Worship--Breakaway Breakaway is a highly participatory contemporary service that breaks away from traditional ways of "doing" church while maintaining the highest level of community as we become the church. A meal is prepared and served after worship at 6:30 in Brummet Hall. Join us as we get to know each other and explore the meaning of faith together. Exciting and interactive Sunday School classes are available for children, youth and adults at both 9:30 and 11:00. Learn more about Breakaway Kids, our 5:30 program. Celebrate Recovery--Tuesday Nights, 6:30 p.m. CELEBRATE RECOVERY is a Christ-centered, 12-step recovery program for men and women with destructive hurts, hang-up or habits—or for those who have been harmed by a loved one’s hurts, hang-ups or habits. It is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ. The program’s 12-steps and 8 principles are based on scripture. The worship service with music, a testimony or lesson will begin in the Sanctuary at 6:30 PM. At 7:30 PM, men and women can go to their separate small group sharing meetings. Initially, the following small groups will be offered: Life recovery for men Life recovery for women. After small group sharing sessions (approximately 8:30) dessert and coffee will be served in Brummett Hall. Remember, CR is a Christ-centered, scripture-based program offered to anyone who struggles with a destructive hurt, habit, or hang-up. This could range from unresolved anger or forgiveness issues, to overspending or overeating habits, to addiction or substance abuse issues. Involvement in CR has been found to be life-changing for many people. Come join us and find out for yourself! NOTE: Please watch for the addition of Step Study groups in March. These groups are a crucial part of the CR program, where the healing truly occurs. One actually works through the biblically-based 12 Steps, one at a time, for whatever struggle/issue you face in your life. There will be separate groups for men and women. Stay tuned for more details! If you would like more information about St. Paul’s Celebrate Recovery ministry, would like to help or be trained as a Celebrate Recovery leader, please call the church office at 296-6149, or e-mail Jim Moffett.
